Tomorrow: Album Release & Anniversary Show!
Dear fans and friends of Fiddler's Green,
Tomorrow the time has finally come: As part of our 30th anniversary year, our new studio album 3 CHEERS FOR 30 YEARS will be released (on CD and on golden vinyl), on which we have dedicated ourselves "back to the roots" to the indestructible classics of the green island. Look forward to a good two handful of Irish song pearls in typical Fiddlers Green style!
But that's not all: In order to give our big band birthday a worthy setting, we will present you a selection of these classics live as part of our big ONLINE ANNIVERSARY SHOW, which will take place on Friday, December 4th. streamed from 8 p.m. (Central European Time) on YouTube, Facebook and via the Fiddler's Green website for free:
This special event does not only consist of a concert recording with the participation of well-known musicians from the scene - Alea and Luzi (Saltatio Mortis), Marco (In Extremo), Ben (Feuerschwanz, D'Artagnan) and Vito C (J.B.O.).
We have also invited many other guests to a stylish Irish pub who have accompanied us on our long journey and with whom we can review the last 30 years: Many old film recordings accompany the humorous discussion rounds, there is also a raffle, and of course, in addition to the live recordings from the big stage, you can expect some intimate musical moments in a cozy pub atmosphere.
By the way, the show is moderated by Alexander Prinz, also known as " Der dunkle Parabelritter", who will comment on the stream live on Twitch tomorrow.

Contrary to our original intention, the ONLINE ANNIVERSARY SHOW will not be a direct live broadcast due to the pandemic. We could not and did not want to take the very high risk that we would not have been able to perform the show live on that day due to official requirements.
We are incredibly happy that we were able to let it happen in these strange times - only within the framework of a strict hygiene concept. In between, it didn't look like it at all, and not every one of our ideas could actually be implemented, given the external circumstances. But now we've done it!
Our special thanks go to all of you, of course, because if you hadn't been so actively involved in our crowdfunding campaign, nothing would have come of it straight away; But we are really looking forward to presenting our anniversary show to you in the anniversary year.
By the way: The crowdfunding campaign will run until Sunday, December 6th. - until then you can support the project and help save the speed folk.
And now we wish you a lot of fun watching the show!
